This site was originally developed for members of the press, media and advertising industry to purchase photographs of various buildings. Recently, however, thousands and thousands of people have visited the site to quickly view buildings and get a feel of an area, without purchasing photographs. If we did not have to pay for bandwidth, this would be perfectly OK, however every time the site is viewed, we pay for that viewing. Many real estate brokers, tourists, and people interested in seeing their old area or thinking about moving into an area visit this site everyday and do not have a specific need to purchase a photograph, even though they get value out of viewing the images. The extreme popularity of this site has forced us to make changes. Sorry, but we are now forced to charge a tiny, non-refundable $3.50 per week viewing fee to view thumbnail sized photographs of the buildings in order to offset our huge monthly "band width" charge. We are hoping that this charge will be temporary, but until we can find a better way to deal with the huge amount of band width used, we will have to impose a usage fee. For just $3.50 you will have unlimited access to view thumbnails of the buildings on the streets as listed on the previous page, for one week. Even if you think you need to view only a few images, the time and effort that you save by reviewing the images probably justifies the payment. It should be noted that many people donate more than $3.50 to support this fascinating photographic project. Please note that the $3.50 only entitles you to view thumbnails of the buildings. The $3.50 viewing fee DOES NOT allow you to down load the image, nor does it entitle you to any license or purchase of the image or any publication rights. To download any image or for publication rights, you must purchase a license.
